Terms & Conditions
Effective August 16, 2026
1. Informational service
TSA Wait Check provides airport-security wait-time information, weather context, airport notices, and travel-planning tools for general informational use. It is not an airport, airline, Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security, or other government service.
2. Live data and availability
When an airport publishes a current wait time through an official source, we display that reported value and identify it as official live data. Some airports do not publish wait times, may temporarily remove them, or may report that checkpoints are closed. A displayed status can change without notice.
We do not create wait-time estimates where an official current value is unavailable. Source pages, weather providers, and other third parties control their own data, availability, and update schedules.
3. No travel, safety, or operational guarantee
Wait times, weather, flight data, advisories, checkpoint availability, and notifications may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. They are not a promise of screening time, flight status, airport access, or on-time departure. Always confirm flight changes with your airline, confirm airport conditions with the airport, follow official instructions, and allow sufficient time for check-in, baggage, security, and boarding.
4. Notifications and saved trips
If you enable notifications, your device may receive updates for meaningful flight delay, status, terminal, gate, or departure-time changes; a selected security-wait threshold; and unfavorable airport weather. Security-wait and weather notices are limited to reduce repeated alerts. Delivery depends on source freshness, scheduled monitoring, device settings, network conditions, browser support, and operating-system controls; delivery is not guaranteed. You can turn notifications off through the app or your device settings at any time.
5. Vercel Web Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate use of TSA Wait Check, such as page views and referral sources. Vercel describes this service as privacy-focused, using anonymized and aggregated analytics rather than third-party cookies. The information associated with a page view may include the page URL, referrer, timestamp, approximate location, browser, operating system, and device type.
We do not send saved-trip details, flight information, notification preferences, or other sensitive information to Vercel as custom analytics events. We also do not place those values in page URLs. Vercel Web Analytics data is used to measure and improve this service, not for targeted advertising.
6. Saved trips, flight data, and privacy
Favorites and appearance preferences remain in your browser. To provide background monitoring, a saved trip’s anonymous device identifier, departure airport, flight number, departure time, alert preferences, and the latest normalized flight details are stored by our backend. Push subscription information is also stored when notifications are enabled. We do not require a traveler name, boarding pass, reservation code, passport information, or payment information.
When you enter a flight number, the departure airport, flight number, and scheduled departure time may be sent through our server to AirLabs to find the matching live flight. The AirLabs API key remains on the server and is not exposed to your browser. Removing a trip stops monitoring it. Do not enter sensitive information that is unnecessary for travel planning.
7. Third-party sources and links
This service may link to or display information from airports, Open-Meteo, AirLabs, map providers, airlines, and other third parties. Flight schedule and operational fields are supplied by AirLabs and are identified in the interface. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. A link or source label does not mean we control, endorse, or guarantee that third-party content.
8. Acceptable use
You may use TSA Wait Check for personal, lawful travel planning. You may not interfere with the service, bypass rate limits or security measures, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or republish its data at scale without permission, or use the service in a way that harms other users or data providers.
9. Intellectual property
The TSA Wait Check name, interface, and original service content are protected by applicable law. Airport, airline, government, map, weather, and other third-party names and content remain the property of their respective owners. You may not use them in a way that suggests sponsorship or affiliation.
10. Service changes and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature, data source, airport coverage, or portion of the service at any time. We may also update these Terms & Conditions. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, TSA Wait Check and its operators are not liable for travel disruptions, missed flights, expenses, lost data, or other losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the service or its data.
